The subdivision of development land into residential schemes, boasting shared facilities which would not otherwise have been possible for single home investors, has become a feature of the residential landscape. With the heightened residential densities in urban centers, the need for security, as well as the transformation of brownfield and greenfield sites into residential use, it is likely that there will be many more iterations of the combination of shared facilities and residential occupation in communities that are enclosed.
It has become increasingly necessary to find suitable ways to manage the expectations of many, while enforcing the communal rules for the benefit of all. The objective of this course is to introduce general communication and management concepts what can be applied in the management of these communities, whether they be strata corporations or what is considered a gated community, both of which falls within the purview of a shared community development.
It is anticipated that the long-awaited Registration (Shared Community) Act will add effectiveness to the management of these communities and that this course will aid in laying a foundation of efficiency.
