The Occupational Environment Safety & Health for Real Estate Professionals is an introductory level course. The course highlights the need for businesses and professionals to employ measures and programs to ensure a safe working environment. Hopefully, the nexus between a safe working environment, the reduction of risks and the consequent reduction in direct and indirect costs attributed to risk, is clearly articulated. So, while OESH is not a part of the prevailing legislation governing the industry, it is to our benefit that we adhere to the safety protocols established in other pieces of legislation including the Factories Act. You may argue that you are not operating a factory, but the principles expounded by the legislation is applicable to business success.
